Pete the Pond - Native Plants for Ponds

The John the Baptist School in Whitehawk, Brighton Project in May 2007, was a pond that had already been built and I was called in to give it a revamp as it was looking very untidy and it needed new plants and also the liner needed to be hidden better.

So I set to work covering the liner, cleaning up the pond area and planting ledges to make it more useable for the school as they had a really nice dipping deck there and the pond needed a few adjustments in order to improve it for wildlife and make it less likely to be vandalised.

This project was a one man job and only took me a few hours of work and 20 new species of water plants went in.
